Horizon Educational Seminars is a Division of Horizon Consultants, INC. and is family owned and operated in beautiful, sunny Florida.    Since our company opened its doors in 1990, we’ve treated every customer and student like they are a part of our family. Other companies may offer training, but our services far exceed expectations and come with our personal touch, as is evident in the TESTIMONIALS..

Every attendee, at every event, big or small, gets the attention and motivation to become more successful and productive. Our programs are humorous and yet focused, educational and yet entertaining.

Our standard of professionalism and performance follows us from Hawaii to New York and Seattle to Miami. We teach Ethics, Mold Remediation, Smoke and Fire Damage Restoration, Water Damage Restoration, and many other subjects for Realty and Insurance Industry partners

In addition, we offer technical training courses on the subjects of Carpet Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, Water Damage Restoration, Smoke and Fire Damage Restoration, Deodorization and Odor Control. All these subjects are approved courses through the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).

Doug and Sandy have both been active in the Cleaning and Restoration Industries for many years. Doug’s knowledge of carpet; construction, dying methods, soil and stain repellents, and how each affects our ability to clean and restore – along with his ability to pass on this knowledge - is just a few of the many reasons for over 35 years he has had the privilege of assisting countless thousands of folks to use that knowledge to develop, operate, and contribute to their successful Carpet Cleaning businesses. Doug is known for his humorous approach, making learning FUN – a true “Edutainer.”

Sandy has birthed, owned, operated, and sold three restoration businesses during her career. During that time, she’s been able to help many folks solve problems in their own restoration businesses. She’s had the privilege of being the Chair of the IICRC Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) Technical Advisory Committee for over 16 years. She’s an IICRC Triple-Master and has taken that in-field experience, education, and knowledge, and passed it on to her students wanting IICRC certifications for over 25 years.
